First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Routable.
Software Engineer
The interview process was quite reasonable, featuring several technical rounds. The interviewers were supportive and didn't create a lot of pressure. I felt I explained myself well, and things seemed to go smoothly. There was also a culture fit interview that was pretty relaxed, where it felt like they were just trying to get to know me better.
- Could you describe your background with Python?
Marketing Director
The interview process was really solid and felt professional all the way through. The recruiter did a great job explaining the role, pay, and timeline, and kept me updated even when things changed a bit. Every part of it seemed to have a purpose. I talked with the hiring manager a few times, and also met with two other leaders, including a C-level person I’d be working with. This gave me a good feel for the company culture, what the job involves, and how teams work together. All the chats were thoughtful and respected my time. They asked really specific questions that showed they knew exactly what the job entails, and it made me feel good about the company’s direction and what’s important to them. Routable seems to take hiring seriously, balancing professionalism with a friendly vibe, and they treated me well.
- How do you connect demand generation strategy to sales pipeline goals?
Technical Support Agent
The entire interview experience was really smooth. I always got updates quickly about moving to the next stage. Everyone I talked to was super friendly and made me feel comfortable, which was great for just being myself. It started with a Zoom call with a recruiter to go over my resume. Then, later that week, I had an interview with the hiring manager and someone who's currently in the role. We talked about my past jobs, how I tackle problems, and my client interaction style. After that, they mentioned a written assignment. The HR person sent it over that Friday before a long weekend, understanding I could do it when I had time, and I submitted it the following Wednesday. The final interview was with the VP of Product, and the questions were pretty similar to the previous interview.
- Tell me about a situation where you resolved a client's problem and the steps you took to get there.
- Can you walk me through your past work experiences?
- What are your typical methods for solving problems?
Front End Developer
The whole thing started with a recruiter reaching out on LinkedIn. I had an initial call with them to learn more about the company, and they mentioned my CV looked promising. About a week later, I got a Front End assessment on Hacker Rank with 3 questions: one on regex, one on CSS, and a Todo List in React.js. After finishing the assessment, the recruiter said my performance was good and set up a meeting with an Engineering Manager, which got canceled. They rescheduled with the Development Team for a live coding session where I had to fix some syntax errors in a React code. A week after that, the recruiter emailed saying I wasn't a fit for the company at this time. It's weird because they initially found my experience interesting, I did well on the assessment, and then suddenly I'm not a fit. A friend interviewing for the same role also got an email saying they were stopping the process.
