The interview process felt rushed. I got a call from the recruiter the day before the interviews, who said the Hiring Manager wanted to talk to me urgently. The next day, without much notice, the recruiter set up 4 interviews for me that same day. The interviewers seemed to lack the necessary qualifications for this role. The company appears disorganized, which might explain their open positions. I had to follow up for feedback, and when I finally received it, it was very generic. Wishing you luck if you're trying to hire qualified people.

The whole hiring process lasted about 4 weeks. It started with a call with the hiring manager, then I spoke with two other principal engineers on the phone. After that, I had lunch with the hiring manager and then met with the Account Executive and his hiring manager in person. About two weeks later, I was invited to fly out to Cincinnati to meet with other Principal Systems Engineers and the hiring manager again. I had to give a presentation on a topic of my choice to the team. They asked a lot of tough questions about my presentation, and the questioning felt pretty condescending. Also, the hotel they put me up in wasn't great. Honestly, if I could do it again, I wouldn't, because the communication between interviews was shaky, and trying to get information about travel reimbursements to fly out was a hassle. I had to follow up almost two weeks later for feedback and was told I wasn't meeting the requirements for a Principal Systems Engineer, even though I had two other job offers for similar roles. The whole trip to Cincinnati and the communication gaps were a waste of time. This company talks about hiring the best but seems to lack the proper skills to onboard employees due to a lack of transparency and how they treat people.

Applied on LinkedIn and got a call back from the recruiter in 3 business days for an initial screening. They asked standard questions about my experience, salary expectations, and the role. The recruiter was great and got back to me quickly to let me know the VP of Services wanted to chat. After some back-and-forth to find a time that worked, the interview was set for 2:30pm, but the VP thought it was 2pm, so we started a bit late. The recruiter apologized for the mix-up, which wasn't the best first impression. After that call on Monday, I was told I was a finalist for a face-to-face interview and would hear back by Friday. The next Monday, I followed up since I hadn't heard anything. I was told to wait because the VP needed to check a few things with the interview team. A week later, still no word, so I followed up again and found out a referral was prioritized. This person was moved ahead of everyone else, and I was put on hold. I told the recruiter I understood the power of referrals. The recruiter mentioned they didn't have much faith in the referred candidate and thought the chances of them getting an offer were less than 50/50. They promised to update me within two days. Unsurprisingly, I heard nothing back. That was 3 weeks ago. Bottom line: I'm no longer considering this company. If I'm not a fit, just say so. But the way they handle candidates doesn't give me confidence in how they treat employees.

Loved the interview process, Company took the steps of phone screen by internal recruiter, HR manager and then I came in and met with the entire team I would be working with. Was nice to be in an interview and get full interaction with the people you will be working with before hand so everyone can see how they fit together.
