I applied for the Admissions Representative job at Ross Medical Education Center in Taylor, MI. The recruiter called me pretty fast to set up a phone interview. Then, a lady from the Ross Center called to book an in-person interview. I was a bit confused since I hadn't done the phone one yet, but I was excited and set a date. When the phone interview happened, the recruiter wasn't very nice. She asked questions really fast and was typing loudly while I talked, which was distracting and rude. It felt like she wasn't listening at all, and I felt defeated by the end of the call. I still went to the in-person interview, and the lady there was super nice. Turns out there was a mix-up, and the job she had for me was actually an Office Assistant position. I was open to it, so I went ahead with the interview, took a tour, and was really hoping to hear back, but I never did. No rejection, no call, nothing for months. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with how the communication was handled between their staff and potential employees.

I sent in my application online and they emailed me the next day to set up a phone interview. We scheduled it a few days later and it lasted about 20 minutes. I found out that there's a lot of travelling between campuses during the week and work hours are from 8:30 am to as late as 8:30 pm, but Fridays you can report to the local campus. No weekends. The salary starts at $50,000. They told me this was the first step and if I got through, they'd email me. I got an automated email the next business day saying I wasn't chosen for an on-campus interview.

It started with a quick call from the recruiter. Then I got invited for an in-person chat with the Campus Director. Before that, I had to do an online test that took about an hour and a half. It had a bunch of behavior questions and two math sections, including algebra. The in-person interview with the Campus Director went okay. They asked standard behavior/personality questions and showed me around the place. After that, I had another phone call, this time with a manager. This one felt a bit strange because the manager seemed rushed. More behavior questions came up. Then, I just never heard back. I emailed the original recruiter and sent a handwritten note to the Campus Director. It's been two weeks and still no word.

I applied online and got an email from a recruiter about 2 days later to set up a phone interview, which happened a few days after that. The recruiter was nice at first but then seemed bored and rushed, sometimes going silent, and got annoyed when I didn't hear her right. She mentioned an email about next steps, but our awkward chat made it clear I wouldn't get the job.
