First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Roosters.
Assistant Manager
The interview process began with a preliminary phone screening to gauge your fit for the role. The questions asked during this stage were straightforward. Candidates who successfully pass this initial screening will proceed to an interview with the regional manager.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your interest in Roosters?
Host
There was a set of questions to understand my personality and availability. It was a quick process. The interviewer was very nice and seemed enthusiastic about her role.
- What is your availability for work?
Host
It was an open interview. You walked in, filled out an application, and waited for someone to call for you. Once she did she took me to a booth and got straight to the interview.
- How would you handle an irate customer?
Cook
The interview process for this back of the house position involved an initial screening, followed by a group training session with people from corporate headquarters. If they were interested in moving forward, there was a callback interview. The management team was really excited about the new place opening up, and you could feel that energy with everyone working there.
- Were there any difficult or unexpected questions during your interview?
- Were all of the questions straightforward and standard for a restaurant cook position?
