It was long and tedious but the interviewer asked very good questions that provided great insight into what they were looking for. I hoped that the salary would compensate me for my past experience.

Do some digging on the company before your interview and be upfront when you answer questions. They'll mainly want to know when you're free and why you left your last gig. They're curious if you have retail experience. Also, they'll ask what you know about their company.

You have to work mandatory overtime through the holidays and weekends. They don't care about your personal obligations. The manager was rude and micromanages. High turnover and late nights. Just because the schedule says you work until this time doesn't mean you can leave; they need you to be flexible.

I applied online and got a call for an interview the next day. I interviewed with the former hiring manager and the former gm on the same day, it took around 2 hours, but I didn't mind. They were engaging and the questions were pretty straight forward. I got a call back within a week.
