First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rompetrol.
Account Executive
There were 2 interviews over 2 days. The first interview was with friendly people who were interested in my previous experience. They asked basic questions about my experience and expectations. Everything was fine and comfortable. I got the answer quickly and then got an offer after that. The second interview was likely a background check.
- Tell me about your experience.
Assistant Manager
HR staff called me, then I had a face-to-face interview with my future boss. He asked me a few questions, and then I took a foreign languages proficiency test.
- Tell me about your experience.
- Are you aware of the responsibilities of this role?
- What are your foreign language skills?
Internal Auditor
They started with a company overview. Then we talked about my experience from my current and former jobs, focusing on current roles and responsibilities. We went into details about the main processes I've audited. I presented my audit assignments and my involvement. We discussed IFRS and accounting treatments, and risks related to trading activities, risk management, finance, supply chain, and logistics. Finally, we covered the reporting process for audit missions in my current position and the planning and reporting process within the corporate internal audit function.
- What is your current role?
Executive Assistant
The interview process was easy. I noticed Romanian HR managers tend to lie a bit. They ask about the minimum acceptable wage, even though you might get a lower offer.
- What is your motivation for seeking a new job?
- What are your daily motivators for achieving success?
- Can you describe your past experiences?
