So, the interview experience was pretty good. It began with an email, followed by a phone call to sort out the details. They were quite formal about it and mentioned that I should dress in formal attire.

I had two interviews. The first one was with operations leadership. The second interview was with their CSR and Business leaders. They mentioned there might be a third interview because one of the operations leaders couldn't make the first one, but then the Recruiter and the first interviewer just ghosted me.

I applied online and then was contacted to meet with both the local branch manager and the regional manager. It was a pretty casual meeting at their office. We talked about my experience and what the job entails. It felt like I was pretty much offered the job that day, just waiting on the background check to clear.

This was my first formal interview in over twenty years, coming from a 20+ year IT career. The process kicked off with a short phone call about my background and if I was open to a flexible schedule. Then, during the in-person interview, the hiring manager inquired about how I'd handle different scenarios and provided a more detailed look at what the job entails. Ultimately, this role wasn't the best fit for what I can do.
