Software Engineer
The interview was on video call. The questions were fair and answers approved by the interviewer. Then the coding part came when there were very few minutes left. It was simple but the interviewer kept talking while I was doing the coding and put some pressure on it and then he said no, yes, no again, but this is quite typical in software where the truth and univoqual answer doesn't exist yet it does in the mind of some enlightened and strong self believers auto acclaimed engineers
- Can you describe the development process in software engineering, including CI/CD, tools, and operating systems?
Software Engineer
So there were like 5 rounds in total. They were pretty structured and done well. It was DSA, System Design, the Hiring Manager, then Problem Solving which had LLD and DSA, and then the Director Round. All of them went pretty good, I felt. I could answer everything clearly and confidently. After all that, the HR said good things from 3 of the interviews, like I did well. But they said the final decision was paused 'cause the hiring manager still needed to review. I followed up like multiple times over the next 3 weeks and then finally got a rejection email, but with no reason or feedback at all. I tried asking HR for more info but got no reply. Later I heard from someone informally that they wanted someone with more experience. It's kinda annoying cause if experience was that important, they should have known from my resume before wasting everyone's time and effort. They should consider these things earlier, not after multiple rounds. It wastes the company's time too, and my time, effort, and feelings.
- Can you answer a DSA question and also do a deep dive into your work regarding LLD?
- Can you do a deep dive into your work regarding DSA System Design?
- Do you have DSA skills?
Software Engineer Intern
The process involved 2 technical interviews, a main one and a follow-up. Depending on the team match, the structure and style could differ. The first technical interview included behavioral and technical questions, while the second technical interview was purely technical. The whole process, from submitting the CV to getting the offer, was completed in under two weeks, making it very quick and smooth.
- Tell me about your past experiences and standard behavioral questions.
