The interview process had two technical rounds. Both rounds focused a lot on my resume. They asked me lots of questions about the projects I listed, the tech I used, and my design choices. They also checked how I solve problems, my coding abilities, and if I understood the main concepts.

It was a 4-hour technical interview with 4 people back-to-back, which was a bit exhausting. The questions were all LeetCode medium difficulty. The scheduling could have been better. HR was very helpful throughout. The only drawback was that the UK team had to align with US working hours.

It was a pretty standard interview process. I had one phone screen and then four virtual on-site technical interviews. The interviewers were knowledgeable and humble, and even though the questions were difficult, they were helpful and wanted me to succeed. After the interviews, they wanted to move forward with an offer. My recruiter, Michelle, was great to work with. She knew I had other offers and gave me plenty of time to decide without rushing me. She set up Zoom calls with the hiring manager and a senior engineer after the interviews, which was really helpful. Because she knew about my other competitive offers, she made sure to put together a great offer for me, explaining the details since Roku's compensation structure is different. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
