I found the job on LinkedIn and a recruiter reached out a few days later. The first step was a screening call with HR where they asked basic questions about the role. Then, I had a technical screening with a Lead engineer. They asked about my projects, some basic Spark stuff, and cloud technologies. After that, there was a coding round with two SQL questions and one Python question. The SQL questions involved JOINs and Window functions, and the Python question was a Data Structures and Algorithms problem. We had to consider time and space complexity. The final round had three 1-hour interviews covering Data Structures, programming, Spark internals, Big data technologies, and my previous projects.
