I had a phone call with TA, then another phone screen. After that, there were two in-person interviews and a take home assignment. The in-person interviews were a bit odd. The first interviewer was late and rushed through their questions, making it hard to give detailed answers. The second interview was going well until the interviewer got sidetracked on an unrelated topic. I didn't hear back after the take-home task, and received no feedback. Two weeks later, I was informed the position was closed. Some feedback would have been appreciated after putting in hours on the take-home task.

Behavioral Technical Case

Recruiter reached out stating I matched Rokt's desired profile. We talked about my goals, experience, and salary expectations, and he put me forward for an interview. Rokt then contacted me directly, bypassing the recruiter. I saw the salary bracket advertised in the job description, which was above average and showed transparency. The first interview went well, covering my background/experience and reaffirming salary expectations. After this, there was a mandatory online IQ test. Following that, I had back-to-back second/third interviews which seemed to go well. My recruiter got in touch and asked for my salary expectations again. I reminded him about our initial chat and that I'd re-confirmed my expectations in the first interview. He then stated they had 'assessed' me and that the salary for that level was significantly below what I'd stated multiple times, and also $20k below the bottom bracket of their own job description. This felt like a bait and switch.

Technical Behavioral

The interview process was excellent. First, I had to submit my resume. Then, I took an online aptitude test which was really good and an on-demand assessment. After that, I had a call with the recruiter. I'm still waiting to hear back about the next round. The interview itself was pretty straightforward, but the aptitude test really tested my verbal, numerical, and intellect skills.
