First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rokt.
Account Executive
I talked to HR first, and then the hiring manager. It was a pretty straightforward process. I didn't move on to the next steps, which would have involved a case study. The people I met were really nice, and it seems like they have a good company culture.

The interview had a few parts: first a recruiter call, then an interview with a manager, followed by a skills test focusing on Algebra. After that, I interviewed with another team member, and the final step was a presentation to three team members. It wasn't super tough, but it felt like a lot. Recruiters were fast, and the interviewers really stressed being in the office and seemed focused on finding problems. They brushed aside any talk of skills or successes, so you really had to pack in the details to stand out. You didn't get to go back and add anything to your answers. They didn't give much useful info for the presentation, but you were expected to know their products and benefits without having worked there. The in-person part really put me off. The office vibe was weird, I overheard some people arguing, and nobody seemed to acknowledge each other in the halls or elevators, it was a very 'do your own thing' atmosphere. Someone else let out a loud, sudden yell, and no one around seemed amused. The people I presented to were stone-faced, no fake smiles or polite comments. Their questions had a condescending, arrogant tone. One interviewer zoned out before I even started, eyes glazed over, clicking on their laptop. Being in that office made me think about what it would be like to work there. I was glad to hear they decided to go with other candidates. Good luck to anyone else applying!
- Can you explain how you would decide the priority of a book of business for clients who have varying objectives and different levels of engagement?
Account Executive
It was a nice but tricky interview process to make sure they hired the right person. I got an email from the recruiter with a quick cognitive test, which was pretty fun, 50 questions in 15 minutes. Keep an eye on your junk folder though! First, I had a 30-minute video chat with the recruiter where we talked about my background, the company, and the job. Then, I had an hour-long video call with the hiring manager. They asked more detailed questions about why I'd be a good fit and gave me lots of time for my questions. After that, I had to give a presentation on something I knew well so they could see how I perform in those situations. The next step was a 30-minute talk with someone higher up in the department about my background. Unfortunately, I got an email saying they were moving on with other candidates. I tried to get feedback but didn't hear back. All in all, it was a good process with very smart and friendly people.
