First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rocky Mountain Human Services.
Data Analyst
So I interviewed for a Data Analyst position and it went super well, they even said I was the best fit and had the best skillset out of everyone. They had 3 spots open, and I was their last candidate, so I was pretty surprised when I didn't get an offer. Turns out they had an internal person already picked. Less than 3 months later, they called me back because someone didn't work out. I interviewed again, and the same thing happened. It really feels like a waste of my time.
- Can you describe how you would convey a technical concept to someone without a technical background?
Senior Program Manager
The whole thing took 3 interviews and dragged on for 2.5 months; after my last interview, they ghosted me for 2 weeks. It included a phone screen, a panel, a 1:1, and then another panel.
- Describe your approach to process improvement.
Early Intervention Specialist
Had two interviews, one with HR and another with a panel of supervisors. The process was pretty straightforward and they were prompt in notifying me about my progression. It was helpful that they informed us about the benefits before the interview stage.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with a diverse range of clients?
Chief Operating Officer
I applied and soon after got an email for a recruiter phone screen. I had the screen the next Monday. The recruiter said I'd hear back by the end of that week about my status or if they weren't moving forward. I didn't hear anything, so I emailed the recruiter the following Wednesday. She said they were still screening, it was taking longer than expected due to many great candidates, and I'd hear by the end of the next week. Still nothing, I followed up again that Monday to see if I was still in consideration as I was interviewing elsewhere and needed to make informed decisions. Instead of a direct reply about not being selected, I got an automated email stating they went with another employee. My review isn't about not getting the job, but about their poor communication and impersonal rejection email. I probably won't apply here again.
