The interview was for a test automation role with domain expertise. The interview panel included managers who, in my opinion, were not technically capable, contrasting with the lower-level interviewers who asked good technical questions and effectively assessed technical abilities. One manager asked me to sort numbers, and after I provided the programming logic that yielded correct output, they questioned why I didn't just use an existing sort function, a point even a 10th grader would know. I suggest the company should better assess candidates' technical skills. It felt like the hiring decision was predetermined by the manager. I went through 4 rounds: the first two were 1 hour 30 minutes each, and the last two were 1 hour each. I suspect interviews at Rockwell Automation, Bangalore, might be fixed.

It was a good experience, it was smooth and handled professionally. There were multiple people interviewing. Overall, it was 2 rounds. I think the requirement was for the automotive side, but I think ASIC is not there now in Bangalore. They asked for a complete overview of my project and questions related to it.

It began with a phone call from HR. Next, I had a phone interview with a manager from Rockwell in the US. I didn't move on to the third stage, which would have been an in-person visit and face-to-face interview at the company.
