Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rockwell Automation.
Intern
It was 3 rounds. They asked some technical questions and why asset management. Also asked questions about upcoming market trends and my experience in public markets. A lot of behavioral questions too. Like, tell me about a time you did x, y and z.
- Which market trend excites you?
- Describe a time you accomplished x, y, and z.
- Can you explain your interest in asset management?
Intern
First there was a hirevue, then 2, 30-minute zoom calls. These were behavioral interviews with the hiring managers and some team members. It wasn't too technical, mostly questions about company research and general business knowledge.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- Please walk me through your resume.
- What methods would you use to gather current information about a company?
Data Center Intern
First, I had an online interview where I recorded my answers to some questions. A few weeks later, I had a second online interview with my potential immediate manager and their manager.
- Do you have experience with ticketing systems?
- Can you tell me about your projects?
- What's your experience as listed on your resume?
