Rockwell Automation Electrical Engineer Interview Questions
& Process

It started with a phone screening, a standard tell me about yourself, education and experience chat. Then an on-site interview. I had to do a 20min presentation about my background. After that, 5 individual interviews, covering different aspects of my experience and personal skills. It was a very intense 5h in a meeting room with different people asking technical questions. Also had a phone interview with HR for a standard screening, ending with asking if I wanted to move forward. I said yes. 2 days later, they called saying they won't continue with the offer, needing someone with more experience. I was shocked, they had already offered to make the offer letter.

HR first asked me to submit to very specific job requisitions. Then, admin got in touch to schedule an interview, and they were super flexible about the timing. I had a phone interview, followed by one in-person interview. During the in-person, my hiring manager explained exactly what would be expected and gave me lots of good examples of Rockwell projects I'd be working on. It took a while to hear back after the in-person interview, as HR can be a bit slow at a big company like that.

Got an email for a phone screening, and the questions were mostly about my resume projects, which the interviewer wrote down. Then I got a video interview link with pre-recorded questions. I think I messed up too much on the video recording, though, and didn't move on.
