Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was unorganized and poorly coordinated. The HR person, who was overseas, couldn't even confirm the right office address and sent the wrong one. They only figured out their mistake a few hours before the interview and then emailed me the correct location. Even though I asked politely, they didn't even call to tell me the right info. Communication was also weird throughout. Whenever I tried to get a response, I got automated replies saying the person was on leave, which made it hard to get basic info. After four rounds where I got good feedback, I brought up my concerns, but got no reply. Finally, after months of interviewing, they told me they were going with an internal candidate for the job. This is something they could have told me much earlier. Rockwell keeps reposting the same job on LinkedIn, which makes me wonder if they're actually considering candidates or just collecting resumes. It's really unprofessional, which I didn't expect from a company like Rockwell. It makes me question if this disorganization is just in the regional office or if it's a company-wide issue.

Behavioral Other

I spoke with HR for 30 minutes about my background. They said I was a good fit based on my experience and asked me to prep a letter for the hiring manager. They said I'd interview the next week, but then I got ghosted. I followed up twice over the next few weeks, politely saying I was still excited about the role and wanted to know about the next steps. I never heard back, and then several weeks after the interview, I got an automated message at midnight saying they hired someone else. It's fine if I wasn't selected, but the lack of communication and wasting my time isn't professional, especially from Rockwell Automation. I'm hesitant to write this because I really want to work there, but the process was disappointing.
