A recruiter reached out and gave me some basic info. Then I had a 1-hour call with the hiring manager where we talked about background stuff and they asked some simple programming and hardware questions. The next steps are an HR call and then a 6-hour panel interview.

The process started with a 30-minute presentation. After that, there were several 1-on-1 video interviews. It seemed like they were trying to figure out what specific skills they needed. All the interviewers were friendly. I got good feedback from everyone. The communication after the interview could have been better.

I first got a message from an external recruiter, then I applied online and mentioned that recruiter. The hiring manager reached out pretty fast to set up a phone screen. The actual interviews were a week later and lasted 6 hours total over video. It was a mix of a 5-person panel interview and some 1-on-1s. Just a heads up, they did offer me the job, but then took it back about a week later.
