Project Manager Intern
I had a phone interview with an interviewer, followed by two more interview rounds with a middle manager and then the manager. It went pretty well and wasn't too technical. Make sure you know the company culture and values before you go in.
- Can you share an instance where you had a conflict with a colleague and describe how you handled it?
Project Manager
So far, I've gone through 3 phone interviews. First was a recruiter call, covering the company and my resume. The second recruiter call went deeper into benefits and expectations, and again asked about my resume. This recruiter also laid out the next steps: an interview with PMs/Team Leads. That interview ended up just being with one team lead. They asked standard questions like strengths/weaknesses, PM methodologies, and to expand on my resume. I'm still waiting to hear back.
- In two words, how would your colleagues describe you?
- What would you say is your biggest strength?
- And what about your biggest weakness?
Project Manager
Had the typical phone interview and then an in-person interview. The phone one was good, but the in-person one didn't go so well. Not sure why exactly, but I've heard from others that the same thing happens. Seems like there's an issue with ageism. Quicken leaders apparently lose interest quickly if they see experienced PMs who are older than 45 or 50.
