It started with a recruiter call that was a basic overview. I then got an assignment to do over a weekend. The next interview was scheduled for Monday but moved to Thursday. This interview was with the direct manager and their manager. It was a mix of getting to know each other and discussing my assignment, including the process and decisions I made. They said I'd hear back by the end of the week. A week later, I followed up and was told again I'd get an update by week's end. Two weeks later, I finally got a rejection with no communication in between. Honestly, their recruiting staff could use some coaching on communication and interview skills based on this and past rushed interviews.

The interview process was good and took around 3 weeks. The recruiter sometimes took longer than expected to respond, so it's a good idea to follow up after a few days. For all interns, the salary is $11/hr and housing is provided during the summer. It's also easy to move to internships in other departments or get a full-time offer once you're in the company.

First, a phone call with the recruiter. Then, a phone interview with two of the team leads. Finally, an in-person panel interview. Quicken Loans really wants to see how much you know about the company. Make sure you read up on their "ISMs" and learn about the different "family of companies." Also, do some research on the recruiters on LinkedIn and check out the Quicken Loans Careers site. The interview mixed behavioral and job-related questions. Be ready to explain the results you can deliver and bring tons of energy. Expect questions that test your ability to think on your feet. The panel interview was the toughest part. Getting an employee referral significantly boosts your chances of getting an interview.
