I applied through indeed and a few days later a recruiter reached out and scheduled 2 phone interviews. The first was super short, about 15 minutes, just general questions to see if I’d be a good fit. The second phone interview was longer, around 45 minutes, and more in depth. Then, I had a face to face interview. When I got there, I shadowed someone who was already working there. Most calls went to voicemail and 2 people answered but they seemed annoyed and eventually hung up. After 45 minutes of shadowing, the actual interview started. I was really nervous and thought I did terribly, but my recruiter called the next day and gave me a verbal offer. It's contingent on a background check, social media, and credit check. I'm not sure if I'll get it because my credit isn't great and I'm definitely not an angel on social media... so I'll update later.
- Tell me about your 5-year plan.
- What is your biggest motivator?
- Describe how you handle workplace adversity.

The initial phone interview was a bit chaotic; the interviewer kept rescheduling, which was frustrating. When we finally spoke, the interviewer was quite pushy and seemed to expect a super condensed resume, like one page, detailing all 16 years and 10 jobs with exact salaries and functions. They got annoyed that they had to jot down notes about older, less relevant roles and were unhappy about any gaps in my work history, which I hadn't initially mentioned. Honestly, I felt like they weren't fully engaged for a good chunk of the conversation.
- Can you tell me about how you managed a past work situation that perhaps you wish hadn't come up?
- Given a specific past work situation, how did you deal with it?
- Describe a challenging situation from a previous job and how you navigated it.
Account Specialist
I applied online and got a call from a recruiter within the next few days. There are three steps in the interview process. One over the phone, one with the recruiter face to face, and then a job shadowing with a team panel interview at the end. Be ready to do sell over the phone during the first face to face interview.
- How do you set your goals?
- What motivates you?
- Be ready to do sell over the phone during the first face to face interview.
