It was a long process, but they need to screen candidates for this desirable district. First, there was a 'speed-dating' style screening interview. Then, I was invited to an hour-long Ventures interview with behavioral questions. Finally, I interviewed with the building team for the position.

Before you can even get an interview, you gotta pass a skills test. What tests you take depends on the job, but it could be anything from Microsoft Word, Outlook, Publisher, Excel, Customer Service, Personality, 10-key, or something specific to the role. They're all done on the computer using a testing program, and you need to hit a certain score on each, which also depends on the job. Once you pass those, the interview part kicks off, and that part changes depending on the school.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • What would you do if you had multiple urgent demands at once: a ringing phone, a sick child with you, an upset parent, and a teacher needing help with a broken copier for test printing?
