The interview process felt intense yet laid-back. Intense because I was interviewed by about 12 to 15 people at their Birmingham, AL corporate office. These interviewers included superintendents, project managers, division managers, and other department heads. It was casual though, as most questions were about my upbringing, family life, values, and my personality. However, one person did really dig into my resume and asked many very specific questions.

The hiring process was straightforward. I had a few phone chats with the recruiter to start, like preliminary phone interviews. After that, they set up an in-person interview. Both the phone calls and the in-person meeting were pretty relaxed and personal. They asked basic questions about me, not the usual corporate interview stuff.
