The firm has a quick two-week hiring timeline. Everyone was really nice and helpful during the interviews. It started with one screener, then a callback interview at the office with six lawyers: four associates, one counsel, and one partner.

I had a Zoom interview with a partner on the insurance coverage team. The process was pretty straightforward. The partner seemed friendly, though a bit intense. I had set up the interview via a recruiter, but I never got any follow-up from them.

I got there 10 minutes before the interview was supposed to start. The HR person was running late and then started the interview even later because they were waiting for another person. After that, they cut the interview short because they had a scheduling conflict. The questions they asked were just read off a sheet and asked really fast. I don't think she wrote down my answers correctly. Some questions I didn't even get to finish before she moved on to the next, which was pretty rude. It was a really weird situation overall.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you share an instance where you had to simplify scientific concepts for a non-expert audience?
  • How do you handle situations where your work becomes monotonous?
