Behavioral Presentation

Started with a recruiter screen, then an interview with the lead recruiter. The process concluded with a virtual onsite which included segments on sourcing and candidate engagement, a team discussion, a closing workshop, and a meeting with the recruiting manager. During the onsite, we had a conversation about my career aspirations, higher-level strategic thinking, and how I partner with a hiring manager.

Applied for the role and had a call scheduled the first week. The recruiter handling the process was excellent, keeping me informed and providing thorough preparation, which is a key part of my own recruiting practice focused on candidate experience, and they demonstrated a high-touch approach. I went through several rounds with energetic team members who seemed passionate about their work at Robinhood. Although I wasn't ultimately chosen, unlike many major tech companies, they avoided a generic rejection email and the recruiter arranged a meeting to discuss the outcome. While the feedback was somewhat general (my location may have been a factor), I appreciated their effort to communicate the decision directly, something many companies claim to value but don't thực hiện. Kudos to them. The team appears great, the work environment seems enjoyable, and I hope they expand their app's functionality and service offerings, as it's currently quite basic and could benefit from more features.

Had 2 interviews that were pretty fast. Automated scheduling made it easy to pick a time. They didn't waste time getting to know me, just started asking a bunch of questions. It felt like a one-sided conversation. If you're looking for a friendly workplace, this department might not be the right fit.
