The interview was strange because they asked questions that were totally different from what the recruiter said they would ask. It would have been way better if they asked stuff that was actually related to the kind of problems an engineer would solve for their product.

I did a live coding exercise where I had to build an XCode project and try to recreate a specific screen for about an hour. The screen involved a tableview, and each cell needed a timer to show how long it had been visible and a blinking light animation. The interviewer was a bit unclear on the exact timer behavior when cells went on and off screen, so I had to ask a lot of questions to avoid wasting time.
