The interview process overall was pretty great. The recruiter and hiring manager were really upfront about how Robinhood operates and what the culture is like there. They clearly laid out the role expectations and the skills and experiences they were looking for.

Behavioral Technical System Design Presentation

Had a great interview experience, going from the recruiter call all the way through 5 rounds. Didn't get the offer though, probably because I didn't quite hit the bar on the system design and project deep dive rounds. Maybe they were looking for an individual engineer rather than a manager! I'd still definitely recommend applying, the compensation is pretty good too.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Questions about planning, team motivation, scenarios, sprints, and conflict resolution.
  • Questions regarding collaboration with TPMs.
  • General questions followed by a project deep dive using slides.
