First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Robertshaw.
Sales Manager
It was a poor interview experience. I applied for a job at Robershaw. The hiring manager contacted me to set up an interview. After I responded, they stopped communicating for a couple of weeks, which I found odd since they were the ones who initiated the interview request. Almost a month later, the hiring manager sent an apology email and asked to schedule a time to talk. During the interview, he apologized again, mentioning internal issues. After the first conversation, I decided to withdraw my application. The company seemed disorganized and needs to improve its processes.
- Would you be open to relocating for this role?
IT Manager
It was very well structured and conducted initially by a consultancy, then with the HR manager, a Manager based abroad, and finally the VP. The consulting firm explored my experience with the company's needs (behavioral and non-technical) and used a radar chart to score me for the company. In the next step, the HR manager explained the company and the purpose of the hiring. With the manager based abroad, the technical interview was executed.
- Have you ever had to fire someone? How did you handle it? What did you learn from that experience?
- Tell me about a project you led that exceeded your expectations and the reasons why.
Engineering Intern
The interview process was fun and simple. I talked to the engineering manager, and they were really nice and made it easy to talk. It was mostly a behavioral interview about why I wanted the job and what I wanted to learn. Since I didn't have internship experience before, I really stressed how motivated I am, how much I want to learn, and how excited I am to get real experience in a professional engineering setting.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell me about your background?
Commodity Manager
The interview was via Teams, and the interviewer was very friendly and proactive, making it a great experience. I received a lot of information about the job, the company, future prospects, and the proposed salary. We will be in touch for feedback, which is very important to me.
- Could you describe your past job activities, responsibilities, and purchasing revenue?
