I had interviews with several regional managers. The questions were pretty direct. The pay wasn't great compared to other jobs, and the whole process took a while. Also, once I got the job, the onboarding was a mess, and the training was really lacking. The only hands-on training was at the annual sales meeting where they talked about new products.

A week after applying online, I got a phone call for a job interview. It was scheduled for the following week and lasted 90 minutes. For an internship, I found it challenging. First, the company and department were briefly presented, then we went through my resume together. Besides personal strengths and the value I bring to the company, a lot of emphasis was placed on hobbies and personal life outside of work. After about half the time, my preparation for the interview and relevant competencies were examined. Company figures like annual revenue, number of employees, and the product portfolio were asked. Afterwards, I had to solve and present two case studies. One was in German, the other in English. The two interviewers were professional and attentive, but in a relaxed and informal way. They often asked critical follow-up questions to my statements. The two people present were the direct supervisors for the position, not HR staff.

It was a thirty-minute interview with an intermediate level. They started with basic questions from the resume, like asking more about your project and the challenges you faced while working on it. Then, they asked basic engineering subject concepts and programming questions. Overall, the interview was moderate.

I applied last year at a job fair. This year, the marketing manager reached out to me to see if I was still interested in a summer internship. After I resubmitted my resume, they set up a phone interview with me. Two people interviewed me at the same time. They mostly asked about my past experiences and how I handled and solved problems I encountered.
