After arriving, I was asked to wait and then promptly thanked and seated. I turned down an offer of water. An employee then guided me through the office to a unique meeting space located in an RV, which I learned is used for brainstorming and smaller team discussions. The interview itself felt formal yet comfortable. I was interviewed by three individuals with different roles. They asked me about my work, my past experiences, and aspects of my personal life. They also gave me a chance to ask questions about the role and the company.

It kicked off with a regular phone screen with the company's recruiter. Standard questions and small talk. She noted that this hire would be the first to help build out the IT team. We then scheduled an onsite interview. I saw I'd be meeting with five people, so I figured the onsite would be pretty lengthy. First up was the IT Manager, Chris. He asked about my past jobs, some technical stuff, and hypothetical situations. The chat was alright. Then I met two folks from video production who asked some scenario-based questions. Finally, I spoke with the co-founder and the head of HR, who asked typical HR-type questions. All in all, it was an average experience.

The interview process started with an HR phone screen, followed by a phone interview with the Project Manager. Then I had an in-person interview with two panels and the same project manager. Everyone was friendly. HR handled everything directly, not an external recruiter. After a week and a half, I got an email from the recruiting firm saying 'Pass.' I thought this was odd since the recruiter wasn't involved. The next day, HR asked if I could come in for a 4th interview. I was confused since I thought I had passed. HR then apologized, saying it was hard to keep track. I asked for clarification, thinking they might have mixed me up with someone else. Two weeks later, I received an email stating I made a mistake, and that was it. This company seemed unsure of what they wanted and disrespected candidates. The position remained open for two months.

The interview process was very smooth and everyone was really kind in the process, definitely feel free to reach out to the recruiter because she was really helpful and willing to answer any questions. There were multiple rounds and then at the end we would meet with the team we would be working with, and making sure it was a good fit
