Staff Registered Nurse
The recruiter will contact you to discuss the company and the role. After that, the nurse manager will conduct an interview. If you're a new grad, be sure to be confident and calm. Show your enthusiasm for the company and the unit.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Registered Nurse
The interview process was terrible. The HR person was really nice, but the unit manager was awful. She kept saying 'I understand, I understand' to all my answers. Then she rudely commented 'you are really nervous,' which really messed with me during my first interview as a new grad. She was confused why I didn't know answers to ICU questions, even though I hadn't worked as a nurse yet. I don't get why she interviewed me. She was rude and didn't seem nice to her employees. That interview destroyed my confidence, and I stopped working as a nurse.
- Tell me about complicated ICU medications.
Pct
The interview was relaxed and open. Everyone was extremely pleasant. The receptionist was extremely nice and very helpful. They showed me around the place, gave me a job description, and told me what their expectations were.
- What made you choose RML?
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What about your weaknesses?
Registered Nurse
The whole thing took about an hour and a half. I interviewed straight with the nurse manager, who was super nice. They started off asking me some basic stuff like 'why nursing' and why I was interested in 'rml'. After the interview, the nurse manager showed me around the facility and introduced me to some of the other staff.
- What would you do if a patient was being difficult?
- What made you decide to become a nurse?
