The interview process was unorganized, with different HR team members explaining it differently. They missed my RSVP for an interview. The lengthy interview process felt more like a sales pitch or a one-sided timeshare presentation.

Got referred by an employee I knew years ago, super enthusiastic about the job's personal satisfaction and referral bonus. Recruiter called for a phone interview covering accomplishments, compatibility with oil rig coaching, skills and coaching ability brought to the company, and hobbies/interests. They are firm on starting level one compensation at $107K plus benefits.

It started with a phone call to chat about the company and for me to introduce myself. Then there was an in-person group interview with other candidates and a panel. It was an all-day thing at their office. We were given some excel data to look at and then had to do a role-playing presentation. After that, the panel interviewed each person individually for about 30 minutes. The whole experience was fun, and the interview wasn't over at dinner, so just be yourself and act professionally.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Group

It was a multi-step interview process. I talked to team members over the phone and in person. Then I met with the hiring manager and group manager. There were also a couple of behavior-based tests. The whole thing took several weeks. I interviewed in airports and client sites where they had office space available. I never actually went to the HQ in Canada.
