RDG HR reached out to me twice about a marketing project manager position, even though I hadn't applied. After we talked, they had me do a big assignment where I had to come up with a digital marketing plan for the company. I sent it in, and then they just went quiet for weeks. I had to bug them a bunch to get any kind of update. What was weird was that they reposted the job later with stuff in it that looked a lot like the strategy I'd sent. I had the old posting saved, so I could see the changes. Even the branding stuff like “dream it – build it – grow it” was apparently pulled straight from Squarespace’s templates, which doesn't seem right for a luxury brand. When I brought this up, they claimed the posting hadn't changed, even though I had proof. It also seemed like the management team might not have a ton of digital marketing experience, making me wonder how they use candidate work. While they can hire whoever they want, ghosting people and taking parts of their work without giving credit is pretty shady recruitment. Just a heads-up to anyone looking at jobs here: be aware of this before you put in a lot of time.

There were a few interviews to make sure the applicants really cared and had consistency. Mariam is very nice and did a great job making sure I had all the info I needed after the interview.

So, first thing they had me do was like 2 assignments, one was finding influencers in Miami that fit the brand, and the other was like making some reels and photo posts for them. Then after that, I had a zoom interview.
