Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Riveron.
Manager
Great! The staff was very pleasant and the coordination was excellent. The process was fast, and I met intelligent people with a welcoming vibe. It seems like a company on the rise with many open positions and state options available.
- Can you discuss your industry background and experience?
Manager
Riveron's interview process is pretty laid-back. It started with a face-to-face coffee chat with the Recruiter, which was nice since it was in person instead of over the phone. After that, there were two phone interviews with Managing Directors who are not based locally. Then, I had a full-day interview at the local office with three people: two Managing Directors and one Associate. This in-person part included lunch and then two separate interviews. All the interviews felt very casual and like a conversation. They want to get a sense of your background, your skills, and your reasons for seeking a new position. Overall, it was a great experience. They're really checking to see if you'd fit in with the team's culture and if you've got what it takes to do well in the role.
- Could you share some information about yourself?
Manager
This is a really small company. First, I had a quick call with HR. Then, I went to an interview over lunch with two people who work there. They mostly talked about the company and asked me about my past jobs. The interview was a bit messy; the interviewers were late. They also mentioned that people tend to quit after just a few months, which made me a bit nervous because I'm looking for something more stable. But, the interview itself was okay.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
- What is your current location?
- Are you interviewing with other companies right now?
