The interviewer was misleading about the role and unresponsive. They didn't ask relevant questions for the role, so it's blacklisted for me. I heard red flags about the company from an acquaintance, and the interviewer confirmed them.

Case Technical Behavioral

There were a few rounds in the interview process. It started with a case study and a modeling exam, and then moved on to several rounds of behavioral interviews. It appeared they were focused on assessing candidate fit and their knowledge of finance and accounting. Some questions about cash flow were also included.

Behavioral Technical

The whole thing took about a month from the first call to the offer, and it was all done online. It was really well put together, one of the best I've been through. After the initial phone screen, I talked with a senior associate, then a manager, a director, and finally a managing director. Most of the chats were behavioral, to see if I'd fit in. Towards the end, they asked a couple of technical questions too. It felt pretty casual, like chatting with people over lunch, even though it was remote. I got a good vibe for the company culture and the people I'd be working with, and the kind of work involved. It made the decision to join pretty straightforward.
