Personal Video Consultant
The interview experience was different from what's described elsewhere, with most online questions not matching what I was asked. It started easy but got tougher. Your past banking experience is key to navigating it.
- Regarding evolving policies and procedures, in past jobs did you actively look for updated or changed policies, or were you usually notified automatically?
Member Solutions Representative
It was pretty simple and to the point. The recruiter asked me if I knew the systems the credit union uses and if I had prior banking experience. They also asked how I handled stressful situations or situations where I had to help a coworker.
- Can you tell me about a time you had to deal with a stressful situation at work?
Copywriter
I spoke with a recruiter who had to reschedule our call last minute, which was a bit unprofessional but okay. We had a good conversation, and I sent over the writing samples she asked for. I was really qualified with a lot of experience, but the recruiter then ghosted me. I reached out after three weeks and heard nothing back. I tried again three weeks later because I was still interested in the job and company, but still no reply. Finally, I got a call about a week later saying they were going with other candidates. I suspect that wasn't true because the job was still posted online months later. It makes me wonder if the whole company is disorganized.
- Tell me about your motivation for applying to this position.
- What about our company attracts you?
- Could you describe your past writing experience?
Relationship Manager
Had a video call with the recruiter. The interview was mostly conversational and focused on culture fit and understanding of the role's core responsibilities. The recruiter mentioned an internal candidate was being considered but promised an update in 1-2 days. They didn't follow up until sending a rejection email. The call tone was positive, but the follow-up was poor.
