Behavioral Presentation

It was pretty easy. It was a normal interview at the location I worked at. They needed people so once she seen I’m capable of doing the job I was hired. It wasn’t many questions, more so her telling me about what the job entails. I was then given the opportunity to ask questions. My advice, research your role and ask questions. Be sure Behavioral Health is for you.

The interview process was great. I talked with two managers who asked me a bunch of questions. They really wanted to know how I'd handle tough situations at work. I was a little nervous so I don't recall the exact questions, but they're clearly looking for adaptable folks who don't lose their cool easily. This is because we work with clients who are often at their lowest point and have no other options. The last thing needed is a professional losing it on them while they're just trying to get help.

The process was a basic interview. It was 3 interviewers and each person took turns asking questions. The questions were more scenarios and about HIPAA. The scenarios were about how you would handle situations with clients and other employees. There were two supervisors and the other lady was their supervisor.

Initially, the interview was conducted over the phone due to COVID 19 restrictions. About a week later, I was invited for an in-person interview at their office. The interview was quite direct, though they did start about 15 minutes late. It's been nearly three weeks since, and I haven't heard back.
