First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rituals.
Sales Associate
The interview process was VERY long. We did a group role-play activity, which I don't think really allowed them to get to know us because some people had their backs to others, and people were talking over us... The selection staff were wonderful, super attentive and nice people.

Sales Associate
First, you have an interview, then you have a trial work period. They completely focus on your appearance, for example, nail polish, hairstyle, makeup etc. They are also strict about working, you have to constantly do something and you are not allowed to stand around.
- Tell me about your education.
- What is your current living situation?
- Are you flexible?
Sales Associate
I had a group interview that was about an hour long, and I think it went pretty well. It was pretty structured. First, they gave us a quick intro to the company and the job. Then, they told us about the activities we'd do, which were meant to see how we'd look at products and deal with stuff in the store. A big part was checking out certain products. We had to look at them and talk about their features, if people would like them, and how we'd show or sell them to different customers.
- Can you describe a product from the store that you selected?
