The process started great but ended up being a disappointment. The recruiter call went well, and I was invited to an in-office meeting a few days later. The two interviewers were fantastic, and it felt more like a social meetup than a formal interview. A week after following up, I got an email saying I didn't make it to the final round because I couldn't 'kick start' the main function of the job, which was listed on the job spec. I questioned the recruiter, asking if the email was sent to the wrong candidate, as the reason given didn't apply to me at all. I have extensive experience and skills for what they were looking for, and we discussed it thoroughly in our meetup. This applied to both positions. The recruiter hasn't replied, and I doubt they will. For a company that claims to value its culture, they should reconsider this. But it is what it is. I won't apply again.
