First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rittal.
Channel Manager
The interview process at this company can be tough, so be careful. They scheduled a third interview, and the invite said 10 am. I accepted it, but then realized there was a timezone mix-up, 10 am MST versus 10 am CST. They declined to reschedule, citing concerns about my lack of attention to detail, which might be valid, but I suspect they've never missed a meeting themselves!
- Why are you interested in Rittal?
Planerberater
It was a professional and pleasant conversation with two people involved. A presentation was expected, which I had to prepare beforehand. Overall, a pleasant and appreciative atmosphere. I had no negative impressions - unfortunately, they decided on a more experienced colleague.
- What would be your approach to building a sustainable network of relationships with planning teams?
Business Unit Marketing Manager
The hiring manager was late for the video interview, so I asked HR if she was still available. I have emails showing I told her about the manager's tardiness and lack of professionalism. Two weeks later, I heard back that the manager claimed I was late and unprepared. Actually, she was unprofessional, rambling about her family and not staying on topic. It's probably for the best, as I don't want to waste more time with this manager and company. I'd advise others to avoid this place.
- Would you be able to prepare a presentation to address a business challenge we're currently experiencing?
Assembly Line Worker
It was a bit tricky to find the place. The aisles were pretty small. We had a big group interview. The person interviewing us was nice though. They had a cool display area set up. Overall, it was an easy process. I don't have much else to add, but I guess we need to hit the minimum word count here.
- Can you walk me through your job history?
- Tell me about your previous jobs and what they entailed.
- How do you think the skills you've gained might apply here?
