The interview was pretty quick. First, there was a phone screen. After that, I had a meeting with the hiring manager and my potential project manager. This meeting was a typical behavioral interview where they asked me questions using the STAR method, and then we went over my resume.

Applied for a Network Engineer role through Indeed. I was initially told I was qualified and should reapply on their website. After asking a few questions, they rescinded, stating they need someone with 10+ years of experience and combat system experience, not my 3-5 years. So, I'm not qualified after all. Very disorganized.

Behavioral

Applied 2 months prior with no response. The second application led to an interview offer within 4 days. I felt the interview went very well. I interviewed on a Thursday and was told to expect their decision by the following Friday. Never heard from anyone at the company again. Pretty disappointed from a company that speaks about putting people first to not even receive a "no thank you" after what I perceived to be a great interview.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty straightforward. They asked me about my past work experience and why I was interested in Rote Solutions. Each interviewer seemed to want to see how much I knew about working with the government and navy. There were a few technical questions, but nothing too difficult.

  • Can you share your recent work accomplishments?
  • Tell me about your recent work experience.
