Technical Coding

The interview process was really bad. They sent a coding challenge, but the questions weren't clear enough to solve in the time given. Some were outdated and not relevant to real software development work. I tried to tell the recruiter, but he never replied, which felt super unprofessional. At least I know I don't want to work there.

Case Behavioral Technical

Before the first online interview, a case study had to be completed. The first interview itself was with the direct controlling manager and a colleague from HR. They introduced themselves and described what riskmethods does. Then I had to present my personal background and explain my motivation for working at riskmethods and specifically in controlling. Personal interests and hobbies were also discussed, and the previously completed case study was reviewed. The second interview was in person and included the CFO of riskmethods. It got more concrete on the content aspects of the position and clarified whether both sides have the same expectations.

Behavioral Group Presentation

I found it easy to apply through LinkedIn and got quick feedback within 24 hours. It started with a video call, and then there were three more in-person interviews with the department head, the CMO, and some team members. The recruiting process was fast and efficient. It was a mix of semi-structured and unstructured interviews. The multi-stage application process really helped me understand the position better, and I also got to see the office and meet some team members. My contact person, who guided me through the whole thing, was always friendly, professional, engaged, and easy to reach.

Behavioral Presentation Group

The interview process had 4 parts: an initial call, a video submission where you talk about yourself, a case study assignment with a presentation, and finally a meeting with the team. They looked at culture and team fit, not just technical skills.
