I learned about the company from a recruiter who arranged everything. I only had a phone interview with them. They seemed to be looking for someone with more of an architect or backend focus.

I put in my application for this sales role on Indeed and got an email the next day to set up a phone interview. The phone interview went pretty well, I thought, and the recruiter was super nice. She asked me to give her a rundown of my resume and some other basic stuff about my past jobs. Then, I got an email to schedule an in-person interview. I met with the recruiter, the VP of sales, a sales exec from the Chicago branch, and the office manager. We talked for like 2 hours. Everyone was really professional and friendly, and they asked me about my past work and even my personal interests. I also had to take a simple personality test. A few days later, they told me they'd get back to me in two weeks. I didn't end up getting an offer, but I can't complain about how they handled the interviews. It was all super professional and organized. They really seem like a great company, and the employees I met were genuine.

So I applied online and then a recruiter from their talent management team reached out because my resume seemed like a good fit. First I had a 30-minute phone interview with the recruiter. The following week, I talked with my potential direct manager for about an hour. They wanted me to explain my past BA experience and how I've dealt with different customer situations. I really liked the manager and felt good about the role after that. Then, I had another Skype interview with the same manager, and after that, I interviewed with two VPs (one might have been an SVP) over Skype too, which went really well. It was great how everyone seemed to be on board with the company culture and was super nice throughout the whole process.

So I had this initial phone interview with a recruiter which was pretty short. Then I had a longer in person interview with the hiring manager. They asked straightforward questions mostly about my past jobs and duties. It felt pretty laid back and lasted about an hour. The recruiter let me know about the interview results about a week later.
