Behavioral System Design Coding

It was a multi-stage interview process. They started with general questions about my previous jobs, the technologies I've worked with, and my teamwork experience. Then, we moved on to system design and architecture design topics. Unfortunately, the process didn't continue to the next stage, which I was told would involve some coding.

I got a referral from someone who works there. The process had an assignment I had to do within 72 hours, which took me 3 full days. I had to prep a QBR for a client using provided data. After I sent it in, I had to present it to the management team and they asked some tough questions about the data. Then I had a 1-1 with the management team and HR. It felt very focused and professional, like they were really looking for a good fit in terms of interests and skills. The recruiters were super responsive throughout.

I had a phone chat for the job. The HR person was really keen and asked if I could come in for a face-to-face interview at the end. They said 'let's plan on you coming in next week and I'll be in touch,' then hung up and I never heard back. My emails were also ignored. It felt unprofessional to get my hopes up and invite me for another interview just to ghost me – not a good look.
