This was years ago but the interview process was pretty easy, I sat down for an in person interview. Pretty easy interview. Took about 20 minutes, I got a phone call with an offer the next day.

I actually interviewed here twice. The first time was in December and then again in April, but I spoke with different people. Both times, they could explain their jobs but didn't really know what they were looking for. I was told the person in the role from December "didn't work out" so they wanted to change the role. It seemed like a dreadful company. I didn't get a clear answer when I asked if they implemented changes based on employee feedback, which was a huge red flag during the interview.

I applied for the role and the HRBP sent me an email with 12 questions. I replied that I would be happy to answer these interview-like questions and set up an interview. She replied, "It sounds like this position is not a good fit for you." It was the strangest thing I have ever seen, and that's saying a lot with 10 years in Talent Acquisition. Overall, I would avoid this company based on my brief encounter with HR.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I sent in my application online and got a call almost immediately from my potential manager for a quick chat. The following week, I traveled for an in-person interview (though they were open to video). I met with my manager, and although the plan was to meet with a VP, two Procurement Managers, and HR, they had to attend another meeting. After my interview with the manager, HR joined to ask a few questions. My manager then explained expectations, the industry, challenges, and the team. Following that, the manager set up a phone call for the next week with another procurement manager to provide more insight into the company and the role. The day after that call, I received a job offer with salary details and flexibility on my start date. My preparation and research made the interview feel manageable. They are looking for honesty about abilities, the right attitude, and someone who is self-motivated and resourceful.
