First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rippling.
Senior Technical Sourcer
I had a really good first chat with a Hiring Manager about a Recruiter role. She saw I was really into sourcing and gave me the choice to stick with her role or move to something that fit better. It was a really nice, personalized touch. I ended up moving to another HM and went through the process. It took a bit longer than I expected, but I get why now - they were trying to create a role for me and were also sorting out compensation stuff, which was all in my best interest. The interviews were pretty straightforward and felt human. Everyone was super welcoming and open about the role and the work. Now that I've been here a few weeks, I can say it's a great place to be, especially in recruiting. Our engineering teams are really collaborative and listen to feedback. We're all set to build awesome products, and I'm excited to see the company grow. Definitely recommend applying!
- Could you describe your usual responsibilities and the key performance indicators you focus on?
Talent Acquisition Specialist
I recently interviewed with Rippling for a recruiter position in Dublin. The hiring manager, who I spoke with for about 15 minutes, gave me a quick rundown of the company and the role, focusing on the departments I'd be recruiting for. I then walked them through my resume, highlighting my responsibilities and achievements. They didn't ask any follow-up questions on my experience. The main questions were about which functions and teams I've recruited for previously, and why I'm interested in Rippling. The manager outlined the next steps and who I'd meet if shortlisted, expecting feedback within three days. However, I ended up waiting a week, then another, before sending follow-up emails. The eventual response was delayed and lacked an apology, which I found unprofessional given the importance of timely feedback in recruitment.
- What do you know about Rippling and why are you interested in us?
Technical Recruiter
The process was well-planned and moved quickly, with challenging and thoughtful questions. It seemed like a great opportunity. I was told I would get an offer, but then the recruiter went completely silent. As a recruiter myself, this is quite surprising. It provided a unique perspective on their recruiting standards. Overall, very disappointing.
- Can you describe a challenging relationship you had with a hiring manager and the steps you took to resolve it?
