It was pretty easy. There were multiple rounds with different people. They want to see how you think, if you understand what their clients want, and how you view candidates. Overall, it was a good experience.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The whole thing took about a month. I talked to 4 people, plus did an assessment. I chatted with 2 recruiters, a VP, and a manager. The first three chats were awesome, but the last one with my potential boss is where it all went south. He dropped a bomb: 10-12 hour days, Monday to Friday. This was super surprising because the earlier chats made it sound like a normal 40-hour week. I was shocked and asked some questions. Then he said he didn't think I'd be a good fit because of the 'pace and hours'. Honestly, I agreed! His expectations seemed to completely disregard values, work-life balance, and even went against what the company supposedly stands for. My friend in another department confirmed his crazy hours aren't the norm elsewhere.

  • For the next interview, please prepare a mini-project: Devise a new strategy to help RippleMatch gain more users. Currently, user acquisition relies on campus reps, LinkedIn outreach, and campus club partnerships. Explain your proposed strategy, your rationale, and implementation plan. This project should be a single page, text-only, with no images.

Behavioral Technical

Communication was really bad. The first recruiter phone screen, the recruiter sounded totally disengaged, with lots of background noise and pauses. They had me do a whole third round which was an assignment, and then told me they were going with someone with more experience, which is something they should have figured out before the take-home. Also, I didn't get clear goals from the interviewing team, just vague ones that didn't seem finalized.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

The interview process involved multiple rounds, with each session lasting at least around 45 minutes. Beyond the typical discussions with various stakeholders, there was an initial technical assessment. The final stage was quite extensive, spanning several hours and including a presentation component. The HR team was consistently helpful, providing clear communication and efficiently scheduling the various conversations. However, the overall time commitment for the entire process was considerable.
