Product Manager
First I talked to the internal recruiter, and then went straight to the hiring manager. I didn't get any further than that. The hiring manager interview involved behavioral questions and asking me to talk about my experience and provide situational answers.
- Can you explain how you would choose between prioritizing backend automation and new feature development?
Product Manager
The hiring process was pretty involved, covering both technical and strategic aspects of product management. It started with a 30-min recruiter chat about my background and interest, plus role details and salary. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager, who dug into my product experience, prioritization methods, teamwork, and vision, using behavioral and situational questions. Finally, I had a take-home case study where I needed to design a new feature or improve an existing one, detailing the problem, solution, and success metrics. This really tested my practical PM skills.
- Could you explain the difference between a product manager and a product owner?
Product Manager
I submitted my resume on their website and a recruiter contacted me for a 30 minute screening. The conversation was pretty casual and the recruiter was really informative about the company. They were going to set up the next round with the hiring manager but I never heard back from them. When I followed up for an update, I didn't get any response at all.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
