- How are you
Software Engineer
The interview process was friendly. I spoke with a recruiter, a software engineer, and even the executive chairman, Russ Artz. Everyone was really open with me. It was mainly behavioral questions, with just one or two technical ones thrown in. Mostly, we just went over my resume and skills.
- Can you explain the purpose of a JOIN statement in SQL?
Customer Support Representative
The interview was easy, and they offered me the position on the spot. I was given a tour of the company and met with the CEO and Operations Director. There was a 20-minute phone interview, followed by about an hour-long in-person interview. Everyone was very nice, and I got a tour of the company where I could see all the metrics.
- Tell me about your previous experience.
- What information do you have regarding Ringlead?
Sales
My interview process started with a call from an investor who seemed to have an old-school sales approach. They asked some potentially discriminatory questions about my childcare arrangements and my wife's work status. After that, I spoke with the CEO, which was a much more professional interaction. The CEO offered me the job and asked me to consider it. However, when I called back, the CEO emailed to say they decided to move forward with other candidates. It felt very unprofessional overall.
- What are your thoughts on effectiveness with a baby at home?
- Can you tell me who takes care of the baby?
- Is your wife employed?
