Manager
I went through a few separate virtual interviews with some of the leadership team members and also with peer team members. Each one was about an hour long. It felt like the interviews were really repetitive and I got conflicting information about the role from different people I spoke with.
- Can you tell me about your experience with x, y, and z?
General Counsel
It started with an initial conversation with an HR representative, followed by meetings with the senior leadership team. There were also follow-up emails exchanged with members of the leadership team. Everyone was very engaging and complimentary. About 5 or 6 members of the Senior Leadership Team were present and they asked questions about my character and capabilities.
- Each person introduced themselves and shared a unique fact about themselves.
Plant Manager
The interview process was really accommodating, friendly, and understanding. They flew me to New Mexico and I met with a bunch of senior people, including the president. All my expenses were covered, and the whole thing was painless and enjoyable. They went over pretty much everything, like the HR overview of benefits, career tracks, and responsibilities.
- What are some standard situational questions you've been asked?
- How do you see your skills contributing to our company?
- Can you tell us more about yourself as a person?
Technician
Had a call with HR from Salt Lake. Then I interviewed with the local facility manager and assistant manager. I got a job offer the same day, guess they're really eager. A few days later, I had to do a physical and a drug test. They also did a background check, but they still hire people with records, so it seems a bit pointless to me.
- How would you respond if you observed an unsafe situation?
